Welcome to HANAZONO high school!!

Hanazono Senior High School was founded by the Osaka Prefectural Board of Education in 1963. The name, Hanazono, literally means "flower garden". A long time ago, there were many flower gardens here in this rural district, and this area came to be known as "flower garden" during the Edo Period (1603-1868). Our school was named after this area to commemorate the various beautiful gardens, which once existed in this area. In October 2022, we will celebrate our 60th anniversary.

On the school staff there are about 70 members; including around 60 teachers, the Principal and the Vice-Principal. In addition to those teachers, we also have 2 native English teachers and 3 teachers of the Chinese, Korean and French languages.
