Aikido:
The Aikido Club has around 20 members. They practice hard to learn about self-defence, growing their minds, and training their bodies. They are a bright and genki club. Their members are also often involved in many kinds of volunteer activities and they have taken part in an aikido training camp overseas.

Art Club:
In the art club, the students practice various techniques, from oil painting to sketching. There is a summer training camp where the members go to the countryside and enjoy drawing and painting nature.

Badminton:
The badminton club practice hard to become good players. They also do a lot of running to train their bodies for games. Their practice can be indoors or outdoors and they have an outside coach come in to give extra instruction since 2007. They also have practice on the weekend.

Baseball:
Kasugaoka's baseball club won the Osaka Games in the summer of 1982. It was won victory at Koshien and has a track record of singing the school song across the country. They practice on the school ground which has black soil like Koshien. The club has about 40 members who are all passionate about baseball.

Basketball:
There is a men's and women's basketball club at Kasugaoka. Their training is notoriously hard. They work the hardest of all the clubs. Their managers are very friendly and they have a great relationship among the members because of the hard work they do together.

Brass Band
The brass band accepts members from beginner to expert but everyone is expected to work hard. This year they won a gold medal in the summer Hokusetsu contest and came third in the Osaka competition. They have very few holidays but everyone enjoys the club. They hold several large concerts each year including a special Christmas concert called the Paradise Concert.

Broadcasting Club:
The broadcasting club is responsible for lunchtime music and announcements as well as the commentary at sports day. If you have an interest in announcements and love to have control of the mic, this might be the club for you.

Calligraphy Club:
The calligraphy club meets once a week in the calligraphy club on the fourth floor. They display their work at culture festival and around Ibaraki City. Their members are few but their works are fantastic. They practise making writing into an art form and have a great relationship among the members.

Chess and Go Club:
The chess and go club has few members but they are very strong. This year, a girl won the national championship! They enjoy challenging each other to think about new moves and the types of games they play are good for challenging your brain.

Cooking Club:
The cooking club meets a few times a month to make something delicious. They make many different kinds of food from sweets to full course meals, especially for parties and events. They make a lot of cupcakes for the culture festival which are always popular and sell out very fast. The club is very free and takes the students' ideas into account.

Creative Club:
The creative club enjoys drawing comics, drawing pictures, making things, and so in. It is different to the Art Club which is more aimed at traditional art styles.

Dance:
The dance club always practices between the gymnasium and the main building. They dance at cultural festivals and other events. They are very cool and cute. Their motto is "We love dance FOREVER".

English Speaking Society:
In the ESS, you will have a lot of chance to speak English. They play a lot of games and talk with each other in English. Also, they perform a play at the culture festival in English which many students enjoy.

Handball:
There are 51 people in the handball club and all the members are very friendly and very close to each other. The practice mainly consists of shooting and passing. There is lunchtime and morning practice several times a week. The handball club has a training camp in the summer. There is a men's team and a women's team. The women's team are especially strong this year.

Karate:
The karate club is for people who want to try karate but have no experience. The members are all beginners and do it for fun. They don't take training or their club too seriously but they enjoy working together.

Kendo:
The kendo club has 9 members. They learn the art and beauty of sword work. The practice is hard but all members enjoy it. You can learn tough mentality and respect for other people.

Light Music Club:
The light music club is the club you join if you have a mind to become a musician. Some members have a lot of experience and some are beginners. At the start of the year people form a band and everyone teaches each other music. There are many band which play a variety of music from j-pop to Western rock.

Music Club:
The music club is a singing club. They perform a wide variety of songs such as those from Disney musicals, songs from Glee, and anime theme songs. Their performances are very powerful. Also, they make their own costumes when they perform and they look amazing.

Newspaper Club:
The newspaper club produces the student newspaper. They meet once a week and look into areas of concern for the students. Their papers are interesting and this is the place for aspiring journalists to try their hand at production.

Rugby:
The rugby club is very small and so regularly practices with other schools such as Senri, Toyonaka, Fukui, and others. The swimming club also practice with the rugby club in the off season for fitness and muscle training.

Science:
The science club's slogan is "search for truth There are many students in the club who love science. They are lead by Mr. Yoshiara. He is sometimes called "Dr. Yoshii". They do various experiments and investigations and their goal is to find a love of science and share it with all children.

Soccer:
The soccer club has about 40 members. Their practice is good and hard. They are very dedicated and their coaches are very strict. In the past, they have been in the top 32 teams in Japan.

Softball:
The softball club are very genki! They are not super strong but the members really enjoy practising and playing games together. They go on a trip in the summer to Hyogo to practice and compete in the local and regional tournaments.

Swimming:
The swimming team has 21 members. They practice in the pool in the summer and do fitness training for the rest of the year. The men's team were second best in the north Osaka area meeting in 2016. They have the best bodies of all the club teams!

Table Tennis:
The table tennis club has few members so everyone can enjoy a good amount of table time and playing with each member. They practice after school three times a week.

Tennis:
In 2015, the male tennis club won first prize in the "Mizoguchi Cup".

Tea Ceremony Club:
The tea ceremony club practices ura-senke. They are very popular during cultural festival when many visitors from outside come to enjoy a tea ceremony with them. They meet twice a week and enjoy talking over a cup of tea and some snacks.

Track and Field Club:
The track and field club has around 40 members. Some members have competed in the prefectural, regional, and national championships. They practice hard and have morning practices regularly. There are currently around 25 members in the club.

Volleyball Club:
The volleyball club practice every day. They accept beginners and experienced players. Their practice is fun but they work hard. There is a club for both girls and boys.

Managers:
Most clubs have managers. They have a lot of jobs to do. Their main work is making drinks such as tea or sports drinks. They also arrange things such as buying the club's uniform and making records of the club's matches. At training camp, they look after the players. Everyone is very grateful to the managers.
